Yes, a squeezepage is very important ……when you consider that most people don't actually make a buying decision until after like 7 exposures it is necessary to capture their email so that you can follow up and continue putting your offer in front of them eventually if they see the value in it they will buy and you now have a customer for life…Also you build a list of subscribers you can now market to forever as long as they remain on your list…I find if you provide valuable content that helps them they will remain a loyal subscriber…..Happy New Year!

Hi Damian,

Is this the type of squeeze page you would use for everything, such as ad swaps and giveaways or would you only use this for cold traffic and sales?

I had good luck on a giveaway with a simple box style optin form with everything above the fold. But it was the only type I used so not sure if another would have been even more effective. Again, it was very targeted traffic.

Great breakdown of a successful yet ugly optin form. You nailed it with all of the required elements of a text book “customer address acquisition form” (lol) What was your conversions for this optin?
